What is CVE-2024-0249?

The Advanced Schedule Posts WordPress plugin prior to version 2.1.8 is affected by a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue arises due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of a parameter before it is output to the page. As a result, attackers could craft malicious requests that, when executed by high-privilege users such as administrators, may lead to unauthorized actions or data exposure within the WordPress environment.
