What is CVE-2024-0664?

The Meks Smart Social Widget plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with administrator capabilities to inject malicious web scripts into pages, which execute when users access those pages. It primarily affects multi-site installations and those where unfiltered HTML has been disabled, increasing the risk of unauthorized script execution.
