What is CVE-2024-0852?

The CoreActivity: Activity Logging plugin for WordPress versions prior to 1.8.1 is susceptible to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw permits unauthenticated users to inject malicious scripts into the admin dashboard, potentially compromising the accounts of high-privilege users, such as administrators. As a result, attackers could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary scripts in the browser of an admin user, leading to unauthorized actions or data theft.
