What is CVE-2024-10117?
The WP Crowdfunding plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This security flaw resides in the wpcf_donate shortcode, where user-supplied attributes are not properly sanitized or escaped. As a result, authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary scripts into pages.
