The Quiz and Survey Master plugin for WordPress, prior to version 9.2.1, fails to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. This oversight enables users with elevated privileges, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, even if the unfiltered_html capability is restricted. This vulnerability poses a significant risk within environments such as multisite setups, where malicious scripts could be injected and executed, leading to potential data leakage or site compromise.
