What is CVE-2024-11087?

The miniOrange Social Login and Register Pro Addon for WordPress is subjected to an authentication bypass issue that affects all versions up to 200.3.9. This vulnerability stems from inadequate verification of the user associated with the social login token. As a result, attackers without proper authentication can potentially access user accounts, including that of site administrators, if they possess the username and the user does not already have an existing account with the social service provider that is authenticating them.
