CVE-2024-11221
What is CVE-2024-11221?
The Full Screen (Page) Background Image Slideshow plugin for WordPress, versions up to 1.1, is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of certain settings. This flaw allows high privilege users, including admin-level accounts, to execute XSS attacks even if the unfiltered_html capability is disabled, particularly in multisite setups. Consequently, malicious scripts can be injected and executed in the context of the affected site, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
