What is CVE-2024-1162?

The Orbit Fox plugin by ThemeIsle for WordPress is exposed to a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability across all versions prior to 2.10.29. This vulnerability arises from inadequate nonce validation in the register_reference() function. An attacker, not needing authentication, can exploit this flaw to manipulate API keys by tricking an administrator into making a harmful request, potentially compromising site integrity and security.
