What is CVE-2024-11638?

The Gtbabel WordPress plugin, prior to version 6.6.9, contains a vulnerability that fails to validate the origin of URLs submitted for code analysis. This oversight permits unauthenticated attackers to exploit the vulnerability by manipulating users into opening specially crafted URLs. If successful, the attacker could intercept session cookies from logged-in users, including administrators, leading to unauthorized access and potential control over the affected WordPress site.
