What is CVE-2024-11719?

The tarteaucitron-wp plugin for WordPress, prior to version 0.3.0, is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. This vulnerability arises from a lack of CSRF checks in certain functionalities, coupled with insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Consequently, an attacker could potentially exploit this flaw to inject Stored XSS payloads, allowing unauthorized access to the admin functionalities and compromising site security.
