What is CVE-2024-11784?

The TicketSource Ticket Shop for WordPress plugin is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-provided attributes in the 'ticketshop' shortcode. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 3.0.2 and allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into web pages. Exploiting this vulnerability could compromise the security of user sessions and lead to unauthorized actions being taken on behalf of legitimate users.
