What is CVE-2024-11874?

The Grid Accordion Lite plugin for WordPress suffers from a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-provided attributes within the 'grid_accordion' shortcode. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this loophole to inject malicious scripts that execute whenever a user accesses the compromised pages. This vulnerability impacts all versions up to and including 1.5.1, posing a serious risk to site security.
