What is CVE-2024-11885?

The NinjaTeam Chat for Telegram plugin for WordPress suffers from a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on the attributes supplied by users via the 'njtele_button' shortcode. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into web pages. These scripts execute automatically when unsuspecting users access the manipulated pages, posing a significant risk to user data and overall site security.
