Summary

The My IDX Home Search plugin for WordPress is exposed to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability through its 'homeasap-idx-search' shortcode. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These malicious scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an affected page, potentially compromising user sessions and exposing sensitive data.
