What is CVE-2024-11903?

The WP eCards plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping for the 'ecard' shortcode. This flaw enables authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and higher to insert arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts could be executed when users access the compromised pages, contributing to potential data theft, session hijacking, and other malicious activities.
