Summary
The MDTF – Meta Data and Taxonomies Filter plugin for WordPress suffers from a SQL Injection vulnerability due to inadequate input escaping on the 'key' attribute of the 'mdf_value' shortcode. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access to inject malicious SQL queries into existing queries. Consequently, attackers could exploit this vulnerability to manipulate database requests, potentially leading to unauthorized data extraction and exposure of sensitive information.
