What is CVE-2024-12035?
The CS Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to inadequate validation of file paths in the cs_widget_file_delete() function. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to 6.9, allowing authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher to delete arbitrary files from the server. Such actions can expose the website to serious security risks, especially if sensitive files like wp-config.php are targeted.
