Summary
The BuddyForms plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within its 'buddyforms_nav' shortcode. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.8.15 and allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts execute when users access the compromised pages, potentially leading to severe security risks such as session hijacking and data theft.
