What is CVE-2024-12077?
The Booking Calendar and Booking Calendar Pro plugins for WordPress are susceptible to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the 'calendar_id' parameter. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in all versions prior to 3.2.19 and 11.2.19. Attackers can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts, potentially compromising user sessions or stealing sensitive information, if victims are manipulated into executing harmful scripts via links or other actions.
