What is CVE-2024-12115?
The Poll Maker β Versus Polls, Anonymous Polls, Image Polls plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit Cross-Site Request Forgery due to inadequate nonce validation in the duplicate_poll() function. As a result, an attacker could potentially trick a site administrator into executing a forged request that duplicates existing polls without proper authorization. This security flaw exists in all versions up to and including 5.5.4, which necessitates prompt attention from site administrators to secure their WordPress installations.
