What is CVE-2024-12132?
The WP Job Portal plugin, designed for enhancing recruitment systems on WordPress websites, has a vulnerability due to Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR). This flaw affects all versions leading up to 2.2.4 and results from inadequate validation of user-controlled keys. Consequently, authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher can exploit this weakness to create job postings for entities they do not manage, potentially disrupting business processes and compromising data integrity.
