What is CVE-2024-12265?

The Web3 Crypto Payments plugin by DePay for WooCommerce contains a vulnerability that allows unauthorized users to access sensitive data. This issue stems from a missing capability check on the /wp-json/depay/wc/debug REST API endpoint, which is present in all versions up to and including 2.12.17. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can retrieve potentially sensitive debug information, posing risks to the confidentiality of the system.
