What is CVE-2024-12278?

The Booster for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to inject arbitrary scripts into comments and other data-sanitized sections. As a result, any user accessing affected pages may inadvertently execute malicious scripts, leading to potential data theft or site compromise.
