Summary

The Marketplace Items plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-defined attributes within the 'envato' shortcode. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.5.5, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious scripts into pages. When these pages are accessed by users, the injected scripts could execute, posing significant security risks.
