What is CVE-2024-12445?

The RightMessage WP plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'rm_area' shortcode. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to embed malicious scripts that execute whenever a user views the compromised page.
