CVE-2024-12521
6.4MEDIUM
What is CVE-2024-12521?
The Slotti Ajanvaraus plugin for WordPress has a security flaw that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and above to perform stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This vulnerability arises from inadequate sanitization and escaping of user-supplied attributes through the plugin's 'slotti-embed-ga' shortcode. As a result, attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts that execute whenever a user accesses an affected page, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
