What is CVE-2024-12590?

The WP Youtube Gallery plugin for WordPress is exposed to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the 'id' parameter in all versions up to and including 1.9. This flaw arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts.
