What is CVE-2024-12679?
The Prisna GWT WordPress plugin prior to version 1.4.14 contains a vulnerability where certain settings are neither sanitized nor escaped. This issue allows users with high privileges, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. The vulnerability persists even in environments where the unfiltered_html capability is disabled, such as multisite setups, potentially allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts into the web application.
