Summary
The Smart Maintenance Mode plugin for WordPress, prior to version 1.5.2, has a security flaw that allows high privilege users, such as administrators, to execute stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This vulnerability arises from the plugin's failure to properly sanitize and escape certain settings, potentially compromising site integrity, even in multisite configurations where the unfiltered_html capability is disabled.
