What is CVE-2024-12734?

The Advance Post Prefix WordPress plugin, up to version 1.1.1, fails to properly sanitize and escape a key parameter before rendering it on webpages. This oversight can be exploited to execute reflected cross-site scripting attacks, especially targeting users with high privileges, such as administrators. Attackers could leverage this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into pages viewed by these users, potentially compromising sensitive information or gaining unauthorized access.
