What is CVE-2024-12739?

The Mobile Contact Bar plugin for WordPress versions prior to 3.0.5 is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. This issue arises due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of certain settings, allowing high-privilege users—such as administrators—to execute malicious scripts. The vulnerability remains exploitable even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed, posing a significant risk to websites, particularly in multisite configurations.
