What is CVE-2024-12770?
The WP ULike plugin for WordPress, prior to version 4.7.6, lacks proper sanitization and escaping for certain settings. This oversight may enable privileged users, including administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Such vulnerabilities can pose serious risks, especially in environments with strict HTML filtering, like multisite setups, where unfiltered HTML capabilities are restricted.
