Summary

The Social Share Buttons plugin for WordPress, up to version 2.7, has a security weakness due to improper sanitization and escaping of certain settings. This flaw can enable users with elevated privileges, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This occurs even in environments where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as in multisite configurations, posing a serious risk to site integrity and user data.
