What is CVE-2024-12859?
The BoomBox Theme Extensions plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Local File Inclusion vulnerability due to improper handling of the 'boombox_listing' shortcode's 'type' attribute. This flaw allows authenticated users with contributor-level permissions to execute arbitrary files on the server.
