What is CVE-2024-12878?

The Custom Block Builder plugin for WordPress, prior to version 3.8.3, exposes a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This occurs because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape a parameter before rendering it on the web page.
