What is CVE-2024-12910?

A vulnerability exists in the KnowledgeBaseWebReader class of Run-Llama's llama_index repository that allows an attacker to exploit a URL variable containing the root URL, leading to infinite recursive calls within the get_article_urls method. This behavior can exhaust system resources, resulting in service interruptions or application crashes.
