Summary
The WP MediaTagger plugin for WordPress, up to version 4.1.1, is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to improper validation and escaping of shortcode attributes. Users with contributor roles and above can exploit this flaw, allowing them to inject malicious scripts that are executed when the shortcode is rendered on a page or post. This weakness can lead to unauthorized actions on behalf of other users and compromise the security of the website.
