What is CVE-2024-13112?

The WP MediaTagger plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.1.1 is affected by a vulnerability that allows for reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This is due to the failure to properly sanitize and escape a user-supplied parameter before it is output to the web page. Attackers could exploit this vulnerability to execute malicious scripts in the context of high-privilege users, such as administrators, leading to potential unauthorized actions or data exposure.
