Summary

The Everest Forms WordPress plugin prior to version 3.0.8.1 contains a vulnerability that fails to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. This oversight may enable users with high privileges, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Even when the unfiltered_html capability is restricted—common in multisite configurations—this vulnerability allows the malicious insertion of script code, posing significant risks to the integrity of the site and its data.
