The User Messages plugin for WordPress up to version 1.2.4 is susceptible to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. This issue arises from the failure to properly sanitize and escape user input before outputting it on web pages. As a result, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of high privilege users, such as administrators, potentially leading to unauthorized access or manipulation of web content.
