What is CVE-2024-13306?
The Google Maps Plugin for WordPress before version 1.9.4 is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks due to inadequate sanitization and escaping of certain settings. This vulnerability can be exploited by high privilege users, such as administrators, even when the unfiltered_html capability is restricted. In a multisite configuration, this may lead to critical security risks, enabling potential attackers to execute malicious scripts, affecting user data and site integrity.
