What is CVE-2024-13383?
The HD Quiz WordPress plugin prior to version 2.0.0 is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to inadequate sanitization and escaping of certain settings. This flaw enables users with high privileges, such as administrators, to execute stored XSS attacks, even when the unfiltered_html capability is restricted. This risk is particularly concerning in a multisite environment where strict content control may be expected.
