What is CVE-2024-13391?
The MicroPayments plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability via the 'videowhisper_content_upload_guest' shortcode. This flaw arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts. When exploited, these scripts can execute in the browsers of users who access the compromised pages, potentially leading to severe security implications.
