What is CVE-2024-13482?

The Icegram Engage plugin for WordPress prior to version 3.1.32 is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue arises from the plugin's failure to properly sanitize and escape certain settings, which can enable high privilege users, including administrators, to execute stored XSS attacks. These attacks may occur even when the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as in multisite environments. This vulnerability poses significant security risks, particularly in setups where user input is not effectively validated.

Affected Version(s)

Icegram Engage 0 < 3.1.32
