What is CVE-2024-13486?

The Icegram Engage WordPress plugin prior to version 3.1.32 contains a vulnerability that allows high privilege users, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This issue arises from the plugin's failure to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. Consequently, even in environments where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as multisite configurations, attackers could inject malicious scripts, potentially compromising site integrity and security.
