What is CVE-2024-13521?

The MailUp Auto Subscription plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) due to inadequate nonce validation in the mas_options function. By tricking a site administrator into performing actions, such as clicking on a malicious link, attackers can manipulate plugin settings and potentially inject harmful scripts into the website. This security flaw is present in all versions of the plugin up to and including 1.1.0.
