What is CVE-2024-13542?
The WP Google Street View & Google maps + Local SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through its 'wpgsv' shortcode. This issue stems from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user visits an affected page, potentially leading to significant security risks.
