Summary

The Zarinpal Paid Download WordPress plugin, up to version 2.3, fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied parameters before rendering them on web pages. This oversight exposes the application to reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks, which could be exploited by malicious users, particularly against higher privilege accounts such as administrators. Exploiting this vulnerability could allow attackers to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of a victim's browser session, potentially facilitating data theft or other malicious activities.
