Summary
The Web Stories Enhancer plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to perform stored cross-site scripting (XSS). This occurs through the plugin's 'web_stories_enhancer' shortcode, which fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input and escape output. As a result, attackers can inject malicious web scripts into pages, leading to potential execution whenever a user accesses the compromised page.
