What is CVE-2024-13589?

The YouTube Playlists with Schema plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through its 'yt_grid' shortcode, affecting all versions up to and including 2.6.1. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on attributes provided by users. It enables authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts that execute in the context of user sessions when they access the compromised pages.
